Hello, friends! If anyone still has me on their RSS feed. After so long away I return to my blog to post about Madelyn's little sister Lilly, who was born January 9, 2008.
Lilly is as beautiful as the day is long, with round blue eyes and such a ready smile, unless I take her to the portrait studio, of course. This week she learned how to yell really loud, and to blow raspberries with her oatmeal.
She is Madelyn's full sister, born of the love of her parents and a frozen embryo transfer -- and she doesn't have spina bifida. We agonized over whether to try for Lilly, but in the end we decided that having another child was worth the risk, and we were blessed. (Not to mention, flat-out lucky, though the odds were in our favor.) We won't tempt fate again, but I'm peaceful with it. I feel our family is complete. Lilly sleeps through the night now, and Maddy's doing just great -- she hasn't had surgery in over a year, and she walks and dances and has all sorts of opinions about how her world should be. Just ask her.
Even though we all know that siblings don't always look alike, I was somehow expecting Lilly to be Little Maddy II, but it just ain't so. Maddy has gorgeous chocolate brown eyes and doe-brown hair, while Lilly has deep blue ones and looks to be sporting strawberry blonde when she gets more than fuzz. I look at the two of them and I'm just in awe. I never knew I could love so much.
More soon -- I've got a plan or two for this blog, something better than letting it lie fallow. After all, it celebrates the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me: Maddy and Lilly.
How fabulous to hear this news, Bee. Welcome back!
I agree nice to see you writing again.
Welcome back and congratulations! Yours was the first donor egg blog I came across and your blog helped me in my journey to DE/IVF. It's great to hear from you again!

My partner and I have been trying for a baby for over two years now, We were going to a fertility clinic for about 5 months before somebody told us to contact this spell caster who is so powerful, We contacted him at this email;firstname.lastname@example.org , for him to help us, then we told him our problem, he told us that she we either conceive in January 2013 or February 2013,but after two years of trying we were at a point where we were willing to try anything. And I'm glad we came to Dr.BABA Because he predictions put us at ease, and I honestly believe him, and his gods really helped us as well, I am thankful for all he has done. contact him via email: ;email@example.com if you are trying to get a baby or want your lover back. he has powers to do it, he has done mine.
I want to use this means to let the world know that all hope is not lost Getting pregnant after having tubes clamped and burned, I know IVF and Reversal could help but it way too cost, i couldn't afford it either and i so desire to add another baby to my family been trying for 5 years, not until i came across Priest Babaka, who cast a pregnancy/Fertility spell for me and i got pregnant.l hope that women out there who are going through the same fears and worries l went through in GETTING PREGNANT , will find your contact as i drop it here on this site, and solution will come to them as they contact you. Thank you and God bless you to reach him email via: firstname.lastname@example.org
I'm so happy I found your blog! I have PCOS, so my only chance to become a mother was de ivf. The greatest fear was that I will not be able to love child, which is not genetically related to me. It's much easier for man to accept this procedure, because a baby will be from him. As it was my only way out, I decided we should try. It was a difficult, but the result changed our lives! One more problem was prices. Costs for this procedure are very high in USA and Greece. It was hard to find clinic with professional doctors, quality service and affordable price. Also we've read so many reviews about scammers! Those people know nothing about empathy and understanding. After a couple of months of thorough search, reading of hundreds reviews and contacting clinics directly we've found Ukrainian biotexcom. I wanted a baby who I will carry and give birth by myself. I wanted to be with him from the moment of his birth, from his first breath. Of course, I wanted baby to look like us. But as soon as the doctor made an embryo transfer, the only thing I was thinking about was pregnancy to be successful and my baby to be born healthy! Now, when I remember how I suffered and couldn't bear the thought that I have to resort to donor eggs, I cannot help laughing. My child is at home right now and every time I look at him, I see that every day he more and more looks like me. I raise healthy and, of course, the most beautiful baby in the world! We asked our doctor to find egg donor, who will have same features as I have. Now I have absolutely no feeling that my son is not mine genetically! No one can ever tell he is from donor egg. We decided not to tell our parents the whole truth. For them we had ivf with my eggs and my husband's sperm. If you have firmly decided to become a mother, no difficulties will stop you. I'm not going to tell my son that I used donor egg of another woman to get pregnant. I'm sure he doesn't need to worry about this in the future. This fact will change nothing for him. We are very happy that we addressed to biotexcom for this procedures. Thanks to their doctors I was able to get pregnant using egg donation program and I've never regret about my decision!
